PSA: don't go down a slide with your toddler

So, I'm just putting this here because I had no idea going down a slide with my baby could be dangerous. I wish someone would have warned me! The rubber on my son's shoe caught the plastic of the slide and jerked his foot back and under my leg. Bubba cried and refused to put weight on his leg. Urgent care, luckily, ruled out a fracture but it's 3 days later and he's still not walking. Apparently, this type of injury is common and one of the leading reasons for pediatric leg fractures. So, just don't be like me and let your munchkin slide alone.
