Embarrassing moment involving my pregnancy pants!

Today I totally embarrassed myself in my work pregnancy pants...

I work for a very serious international corporation and there are not many females aside from myself. Everyone is aware that I am pregnant but not many people mention it.

Today I was in between board meetings and I went into our corporate lunch room. They always have a huge basket of fruit and I figured I would grab some and take it back down to my office later as a snack.

I grabbed a banana, an orange, an apple and two tangerines.

Realizing I had no way to carry them while holding binders, packets, and a couple of cell phones I had a thought... “pregnancy pants are like tennis skirts that can hold tennis balls in place during play” so when no one was around I put all the fruit in the high waist band of my pregnancy pants.

Well, pregnancy pants are nothing like tennis skirts because it didn’t take long before I was walking down the hall with my male colleagues and I can feel all the fruit dispersing and traveling down my pants. I walked awkwardly hoping I could sneak away and adjust but no....

My boss sees me in the hall and asks me to step into a board meeting with all of the company executives in the room to answer a question on a project I’m working on.

When I stepped in, I felt the coldness of the tangerine roll out from the leg of my pants onto the floor next to my heel.

My boss looked down at it and then looked at my legs and said “what’s wrong with your knee?”

The banana had moved down to my knee and the orange and apple were down my other pant leg. The other tangerine was right were my crotch was!

I said, “oh that’s just fruit” without explaining any further.

Then everyone was looking at my legs and the one tangerine next to my foot.

I could have died.
