We bought the Nuna Pipa because I liked the idea of a load leg for added safety, which is more common in European standards. Britax also makes a super safe infant seat that’s worth checking out. It’s the car seat that Prince William has used for all of his kids.

There isn’t a “safest” car seat lol They all go through the same safety tests. You could buy the most expensive car seat on the market and it won’t do shit if you don’t install it correctly lol we used a basic Graco Click Connect Travel System. It wasn’t bad but our daughter is super tall and outgrew it by 4.5 months old 😬 we then moved her to a Graco Extend2Fit which can be used with newborns as well and it’s so much better. We’re skipping the newborn seat with our next baby and just buying a second Extend2Fit.

Infant car seats are so regulated in safety standards in the US now that they are all the same. It’s really about what features you want in your stroller. We use the graco click connect travel system.

We did a capsule to car seat (called travel systems in Australia) it meant we could take buns out of the car and put him in the pram or carry him without waking him. Lasted till he was 5 1/2 months!
