Fever related seizure ??

Question

Hey, have any of you guys experienced a fever-related seizure with your little one ? If so, have you experienced more than one ? We experienced our first and hopefully last yesterday. 
I feel a bit like I have PTSD. Every time he stares too long I think could this be another one ? 
I’m wondering how common the seizure is and how many kids experience more than one of these ? 
Any feedback at all would be so much appreciated!!

My friends son had one and it scared the crap out of them. From what I hear everyone finds it similarly horrible

I was a nanny for some boys for 2 years. The 18 month old had one from a fever spike. It scared me half to death!!! I feel like it was a learning experience, but it is sooo scary even though they are fine after. He never had another one while I was with them.

My friend's son used to have them quite a bit when he was one. He's two now and hasn't had one in a year. 
They're called febrile seizures and they affect kids 3 months to 6 years old, and are most common in toddlers 12–18 months old. The seizures usually last for a few minutes and usually happen when a child has a fever above 100.4°F. They're usually caused by a rapid increase in body temperature.
