Boy or girl.. Don't want to wait

I am 8weeks and 6days today. I had my first appointment and ultrasound a few days ago and baby is great-measuring right along schedule!

I really want to know what the gender is, but my hospital doesn't do the gender scan/ultrasound until 21 weeks.

I thought a out the DNA blood work that could be done by 13-16 weeks (I think), but that's not covered by insurance (not sure how much it would be out of pocket).

My friend told me about a 3D ultrasound that they could tell the gender before 20 weeks. Here's the catch... my insurance only covers TWO (SERIOUSLY?!) ultrasounds 😒

So! With all that said, are there any other options you know of other than waiting until 21 weeks to learn the gender? Because... who doesn't want to know what the sex is 😭
