Baby is ill :((

My LO has been extremely fussy all evening- crying a fair bit, fussy with his milk (although he did have a full feed before bed) and napping a little more than usual. He woke up late today and didn’t have his usual morning nap so I put it down to that, plus he’s teething and has developed a bit of a cold (I think, he’s congested at least), but he finally went down a few hours ago and since then he’s been waking stirring and waking. He’s just woken up again after throwing up a little bit in his sleep, and now he has a slightly high temp at 38.3c, and is crying like I’ve never seen him. He’s obviously exhausted so not sure if the crying could be down to that too, but he doesn’t seem to have a rash, just feels very hot to touch and upset. Any ideas? He’s 4mo.

I spent the day with a friend last weekend who later told me that she had come down with a horrendous cold and I’ve felt the onset of it this week but it didn’t come to anything- could it be that? Would a bad cold give a baby a high temp?

I’m so worried, he’s never been like this. Don’t want to be overbearing but I’m so nervous that I might be too relaxed and miss something. At what point should I see a doctor? I don’t have any calpol etc and we’re currently snowed in so I can’t even get anything for him 😒
