He’s only dated older women

So I just started dating this new guy and it’s been great. It’s the third date and we just had our first kiss, so I think it’s really refreshing to be dating someone who’s taking things slow. (Unlike the assholes I’ve dated before.)

But.

I’m a little intimidated because the last two girls he’s dated were 6+ years older than him and I’m the first “young” girl he’s dated recently (I’m 2 years younger). He said it was because “younger girls can’t handle the military thing.” (He’s a marine.)

I’m not really sure what I’m asking, but does anyone have any advice? This makes me feel like a baby and I don’t know what to do.
