Eczema or allergy?

Hi ladies, I need your help. My LO has been diagnosed with Eczema early on, but we had it pretty much under control for the past few month. About two weeks ago she got a spot on her foot that didn’t improve even with hydrocortisone so I sent a message to her pediatrician to which he replied to try using clotrimazole for a few days to see if it helps. This was on Friday. I went to the pharmacy but didn’t actually buy the cream because I could only find creams for vaginal yeast infections, athletes foot or jock itch with that ingredient and wasn’t sure which one to get. Anyways Friday night I noticed another bad spot, and then more yesterday and today. But looking at it today, I’m really not sure of this is an Eczema outbreak or an allergy. I will call her ped first thing tomorrow morning, but she has been miserable today, trying to scratch/bite those spots and then crying a lot. Any ideas what I can do to make her more comfortable?
