Guy advice wanted! please!

so this guy started coming to my church and he has been coming for a few weeks and he’s talked to everyone but me. every girl, guy, elder. you name it. and i am kind of shy anyways so when i try to talk to him i just can’t do it. i just don’t know if i should just leave this topic alone or what. i’m homeschooled and he goes to a public school so i don’t know if there are any other girls. i just don’t get why he hasn’t talked to me yet. when he first started coming he was shy but he’s opened up a LOT.
