baby fever should I have another?

my son will be one in May. is it too soon to want another baby? I'm torn between baby fever and wanting another one to wanting my son to grow up a little first. I want to have another 2.. and I want them close enough in age so that I'm done and dusted... But then I keep thinking what's the rush... and I'm also worried I'll be judged for 'having another too soon' what do you ladies think? I wanna hear experiences from both angles!

GIRL! My kids will be a year and a half apart. On purpose! I want them to grow up together and be best friends. I have grown up with so many friends with a sibling 1 year apart from them. So I consider it completely normal actually.

It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks! It’s going to be hard, because you’ll have a young toddler and a newborn, but I know many people who have had babies closer together and they are absolute best friends & mommas loved raising them so close together.

Totally a personal choice on what’s best for your family. My girls are 4 years apart and it gives me tons of time for each, but my sisters both had 2 boys just over a year apart and both say it was awesome because their kids were in the same phases at the same time.  If we decide on a third, it will probably be in the next year (my youngest is 8 months right now) so the two youngest would be about 2 years apart. I’ll be honest that having 2 that young makes me a little nervous because my girls age gap has worked so well for my family but so many people do it lol. Good luck with your decision!

Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks, if you and your husband feel that your both ready then go for it! My son will also be one in May and for some reason I kind of feel like I want to get pregnant again but I have to stop and really think about it like what am I doing? I do not want another baby right now, I’m having so much fun with him and he’s just now getting out of that baby baby stage, I want to give him all the attention we possibly could right now! I think I want to try again whenever he’s 2. But I completely understand where your coming from, we get baby fever, it’s just natural!

I started trying for a second when my first was five months old. I got pregnant when she was eight months old. Health wise, it’s best for your body and the pregnancy to wait. Talk to your doctor about it. I wanted my kids to be close together in age.

I think that's the perfect time. That was my plan, but I got pregnant at 5 months PP 🤦🏻‍♀️
