Book bags in Classrooms

Our school is making students put our backpacks inside our lockers all day and not being allowed to carry personal belongings like (tampons,pads). We get three minutes in between classes, this is the time where we are allowed to go to the bathroom, the office etc. Some of the freshman are complaining that their lockers are on the 1st floor, out of 3 total floors. They are still expected to make it back to the third floor, with going to the bathroom.

Personally I think that we can make it through this without causing a big issue. It is for the safety of students and teachers. I’m glad they are taking actions to make school a safer place to be. It is sad that we have to do things like this because of school shootings, though. What do you think?
