FTM Breastfeeding

I never expected it to be easy but oh wow😩 Arthur is 2 days old and wants to nurse ALL the time. I've tried to get him to latch on but he insists on staying at the very end of my nipple no matter how many times I fix it. What did you do to help? or did you just have to get over it untilnyour baby got better at it? When I hear him cry in the middle of the night I know he's hungry so I go to feed him but it just hurts so bad. 😥 any advice would be great.
