Elective c section due to baby’s size.
Can I ask my OBGYN for a c section? I’m 36 and 1/2 weeks and measuring two weeks ahead. Baby is already in 88 percentile and weighs approximately 7 pounds 12 ounces. My dr doesn’t want to induce until I’m 39 weeks, and at that point the baby could be close to 9 pounds. I’m terrified of going through labor now especially since he is measuring big. Has anyone else asked their doctor for c section for any reason? This is my first pregnancy.
