Home male fertility kit before seeing a doctor

So me and my partner decided on trying this kit at Walgreens called Sperm Check Fertility, which is a kit where you perform the same process for semen samples as u would at the doctors. We planned to do both but I wanted him to try this out first. Like a pregnancy test only one line showed at the end of the process indicating low sperm count. He’s pretty calm about it but my feelings are really hurt. Anyway he’s making his appoint next week. Has anyone tried this kit? Did your husband or partner results match what the doctors ended up finding?
