Pulled over by the police rant 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

So ladies just a little background ,I have never been in trouble or had bad run ins with the police. I got pulled over at 16 for driving with no license and got the car taken. Never did it again. I am 23 years old and have had my license for a long time now. Anywhoo I went and picked up my husband tonight from work per usual, and as we were leaving his job on a two road highway, we pass the police. I see in my mirror that this officer had hit his breaks and then next thing you know a car speeds up on my ass and I got pulled over. When the officer walked up to my car he flashed his light in my car, and then my husband asked him what we were being pulled over for. He pretty much told my husband to shut up and they started arguing and he started cussing at my husband. Mind you I’m in the drivers seat having a full blown panic attack! I started crying and then I looked at him and I said “there is no need for you to treat my husband like shit ! You two are sitting here arguing and your cussing at my husband and you two are equal! My husband is in the army you are a cop your not talking to some dumb disrespectful hardened criminal on the street” he looked at me and said “don’t even try to pull the race card” I’m looking at him like

What the fuck do you mean ?! I never said anything about race ?! So my man pulls out his phone and starts recording as I’m still in mid panic attack crying like a baby because I’ve herd about so many pull over stories gone wrong for no reason and we were in the middle of the highway in the dark hours of 11pm! So he takes my license registration and insurance walks away and comes back to tell me he pulled me over for not having a front license plate. (Apparently in California that’s illegal) so he gives me all my stuff back and says “you folks have a good night I don’t want to harass you any more” and I was like

He told us to leave and we did. I don’t know exactly why but I have never been so scared in my life. After my husband started recording he did not cuss or point another finger in our faces. I love the police ! Live of is my favorite show and my grandpas a sheriff! It was just a sad situation and I know not all cops are assholes but that one really got to me. Rant over.
