Over the moon 🌙

In the past two years, I’ve suffered through 2 very painful and traumatic miscarriages. On Valentine’s Day, I took a home test that turned out to be positive. I was extremely concerned and not at all expecting this pregnancy to be successful.

Fast forward to my first ultrasound two days ago;

I was not looking forward to it because I only expected to see no growth and no heartbeat. Boy, was I wrong. For the first time I was able to see the little flicker of my baby’s heart, my partner was called into the room and we were able to share this amazing moment. I had tears in my eyes and butterflies in my belly. I’m so happy. Today I am 8w1d and i can’t wait to see how this goes. I’m still scared, but I’m so excited and hopeful.
