Wanting baby to come out early

Does anyone have this secret wish that baby would come early. ....not because of being impatient or uncomfortable, but because you're so worried about stillbirth that part of you would rather baby just be out and safe, even if it meant a little nicu time, at least you're not going to have a stillbirth? I'm not talking early as in dangerously early or anything like that. But these thoughts creep up in mind sometimes. Especially when I read about stillbirth at 35+ weeks...I think, damn if baby had been delivered early, baby would be home and well by now :( I know it's irrational but it does come to mind.
