Can I get pregnant on the pill??

Can you get pregnant even when you’re on the pill?! I’ve been so so so tired lately, not even funny! Most of my symptoms (slight cramps, mucus, weird nipples, sore breasts, nausea, and having to pee every 10 minutes) point towards pregnancy, I took a test and said I was negative ALTHOUGH I’m still a week from my period so I guess it wouldn’t be fully accurate!  But yes, I’m on the pill and take it everyday!!

You can get pregnant on the pill. Anytime you have sex there’s a chance of pregnancy.
However, those symptoms could be PMS symptoms or side effects of the pill itself. Don’t worry for now. Put it out of your mind as much as you can. Wait until your period is supposed to come. If it doesn’t come after about a week, test again. Anxiety will only delay your period so you have to just focus on other things for now.

And those symptoms are pms. Happens after ovulation or two weeks before your period. It’s normal

if you just stated the pill that could be why, it could be getting all of your hormones into balance, not to sure but hope everything works out for you !!

It is possible, certain other medications such as antibiotics can interfere with how it works. But if you aren’t taking  anything else and are not missing a dose it is very unlikely. I did have a friend who got pregnant with all three of her children while on it (not sure exactly which one she took or her habits as far as taking it or other medications she may have been on)

I got pregnant multiple times on the nuva ring, miscarried every time .... won't use it now... but yeah it is. Dr didn't even believe until I showed him the pregnancy tests
