are you doing a gender reveal party?

I don’t think I’m going to because me and my fiancé decided we don’t really need a party for it. but I’m curious how others feel about the gender reveal parties

They’re fine, although if you’re going to have one I think you should probably forgo a shower.  Asking your family and friends to participate in multiple parties for an unborn baby with a few month period is a bit much.

We decided on gender reveal photos instead of a party. It was so much fun and the pics turned out great!

We were going to but my husband and I decided we can’t wait that long to find out the gender. So we will probably do something small like a cake reveal or something for family and then go all out for the baby shower.

Personally, I don’t really like them. I also think that my life is busy enough, that I don’t want to attend a gender reveal, plus multiple showers for people. We only go to gender reveals for very close friends or family. But if you want one, go for it! Lots of people really like them. You could consider doing it just for family if you wanted. In my experience, most people don’t have a gender reveal though

We did gender reveal photos .. here they have a policy where u either find out as the mother , or they send the results to the doctor and they tell me then. So either way i would have know ! So me my husband , mom and sister ( at the us ) found out and then just did some cute pictures at my sisters with a cake she made and stuff :)

When we eventually have kids I don’t want a whole crap ton of blue or pink stuff. That’s the main reason. I may not even want to find out what we’re having until we have it.

I’m thinking about doing the gender reveal at my baby shower. Otherwise, I may just do it privately in my own home with close friends.

I planned it all out with a friend, but the closer my elective sonogram date gets, the more anxious I’m feeling. I’m just way too impatient lol I feel better this way though, I really hate having all that attention on me anyway.
