Im 17 ill be 18 in april . At the age i should be able to go outside whenever i want right ? My friends be asking me to go out to eat or come smoke like at 11pm i feel if im 18 i should have that privilege. Because when my brother was around 16 they didnt have curfew and was doing WAAY worst . It shouldnt make a different because if i was living on my own she wouldnt know what i was doing.

But you're not living on your own.  I think you should have more freedom than you did before, but it's their house and their rules.

I’m not so sure telling your parents that they need to let you “go smoke” is going to be an effective strategy to make them less protective.

I mean , after I was eighteen I still had to check in with my dad , let him know what I was doing or gonna do . And couldn’t be out that late unless he trusted the people I was with

Even at 18, I was living in my parents house, so their rules. I was allowed freedom though. If I knew I was going to be late I typically spent the night at my friend's house.

You can do that when you're living on your own. If you are living with your parents, then no. Your parents make the rules.

My sister also had more privileges than me. Her curfew was 23:00 during the school week and mine was 22:00 on the weekend. We were treated differently too, in that regard. As a result of this special treatment my sister is terribly entitled and I consider myself more independent so I know it seems unfair, but just stick to the rules.
