I am a victim of domestic violence, left the guy July 2016, been through court and custody. This September 2017, he was sentenced to 1 year in jail and 6 months live in rehab. I have full custody and he has no visitation (as of April 2017) as the months go on, I’m getting so stressed for the day he try’s to file for visitation of my daughter.

I’m am like way beyond stressed.

He plead guilty to battery and child abuse (choked his older daughter from a different woman and left marks on her neck)

Any of you ladies have advice for if/when he tries to get visitation? I’m so scared he’ll try do the “I served my time and I’m changed” bit. (The DA on my case had told me that he had prior charges of domestic abuse)

My daughter and my life is finally going well! I got with my current boyfriend and we’ve been together for almost a year and half now, he’s all my daughter knows and she calls him daddy, and things are just looking brighter for our future.
