Wedding or travel?

I’m recently engaged and struggling at the moment between having a wedding with 40-60 people, and a small nearby honeymoon - or having a small ceremony with a few family members and going somewhere exciting like Europe. I’m not a big attention person, but a wedding just sounds so exciting and fun to me. However it also makes me a tiny bit nervous because I don’t want it to be boring. M y SO wants a decent sized wedding as well, and he’s fine with a small honeymoon. I’m just wondering if we’ll regret this later on...? We’ve never been outside the U.S, and he’s never been on a plane before. We’re from Florida so there’s things to do here, like a theme park getaway or a beach honeymoon, I’m beginning to question our decision. we don’t plan on getting married until May of next year, so we have plenty of time to decide. I’m just curious if anyone had a wedding and regretted it and would’ve rather traveled? Thanks!
