Cesarean Hospital Stay

So I know federal law requires insurances to cover at minimum 96hrs of a hospital stay after time of delivery (not time of admittance) but in the U.S. most women go home after 3 days on the advice of their doctor or because the hospital tells them to. Has anyone used their rights to stay longer?

Curious because I hear recovery for a cesarean can be hard and I would think I'd want to be around medical professionals as long as possible.
