Sorry i keep on reading here and always read plan b. What is it? Can someone explain here?

Plan B is an emergency contraceptive used within 72 hours of unprotected sex to prevent the user from becoming pregnant. They are only meant to be used in emergency situations as they will mess up the users hormones and cycles for awhile. That is a big reason you see a lot of questions because people want to know what is too often to take the pill.

Plan B is a medication at the drug store. It's literally your plan b if the condom breaks or a mishap. It's used to prevent pregnancy. It either prevents fertilization or temporarily stops you from releasing an egg. It's helpful but is not a birth control method and should be used sparingly.
