Postpartum period?

I’m about 6-7 weeks postpartum & I stopped bleeding about 2 weeks after getting home from the hospital. About a month later I started bleeding again. I spotted brownish / pinkish discharge the first day. Then bled like a period for the next 5 days. Today I’m spotting the brownish / pinkish discharge again. So I’m assuming Its about to stop. That makes 7 full days (as of now). Does this sound like the first period after birth? I know the bleeding you have after giving birth has stages. It started with the bright red blood, changed to pink, then lastly it went to yellow / white discharge before completely stopping. This was different, it was a pattern like a period. Is it possible to have a period this soon?
