Safe to get a tooth pulled 7 months pregnant?

I have a tooth that has been bothering me the last few days and I'm not sure if a dentist would pull it or not. But would it even be safe/possible for them to pull it? I'm 28 weeks as of yesterday if I have to I'll wait till after the baby is born just wondered before I called to find a new dentist.

Yes! I had a root canal at 37 weeks. Just double up on the apron when being xrayed..and I was also told no epinephrine in the novacaine.

It's safe! Double up on led aprons and hopefully the dentist uses digital X-rays (way less radiation). The anesthetic is not going to hurt baby and the risk of leaving an infected tooth outweighs any risks of getting the tooth pulled! The only thing is recovery might be more difficult, you can't take pain medications or antibiotic unless your OB says ok. Your dentist might say it's fine but always always always double check with your OB too.

See a dentist soon. If that tooth gets infected, the infection can go to the baby. Be honest with the dentist about how far along you are. I've read to be seen by dentist in 2nd trimester. I'm sure if it needs pulled the dentist will tell you.

I had to have one pulled in an emergency at 38 weeks. Baby boy is 17 days and perfectly healthy

Yes its perfectly fine the only thing is they will need to xray which is also fine but some ppl prefer not to. I think get it over with before bub arrives as you might not have enough time esp if its painful
