You should because it sucks when you think people are there for you and then you find out theyve been talking shit about you without you knowing. You would want someone to tell you if your friends were talking about u behind ur back sooooo you should do the same!!

Depends on what they’re saying and how it’s being said but my gut says tell the friend. At the same time why aren’t I telling the other people to shut it if they’re talkin smack about my friend?

Unless your friend asks don’t tell. Don’t go out of your way. I know it sounds like your being a bad friend but I think it will help in the long run.
