Strep B early in pregnancy
So I've been diagnosed with a uterine infection from strep B at 8 weeks. Problem is that it's nearly impossible to research its effects in early pregnancy because all the websites are about strep B testing at the end of pregnancy and how the bacteria can transfer to a baby. They do mention it can cause a UTI, uterine infection, or other infections earlier in pregnancy and you treat with antibiotics. But is there any risk to the fetus at that time?? I can't find any answers. Please help!
