I’m struggling with where to go from here.

I had one of my neighbors call the cops on me this weekend, and they reported that I was hitting my child in the front yard.

But the frustrating thing is that isn’t what happened. She was running down the driveway and I reached out to grab her to keep her from running into the street.

They came out to investigate and said she sewms just fine, has no marks, and they have no further action to take. Case closed and nothing happened.

I’m just frustrated. 1.) I didn’t hit my kid, and I don’t want people thinking that. 2.) I don’t know which neighbor called. Now I feel like I need to walk on eggshells in my own home when I didn’t even do anything wrong.
