Thought for sure this is it...

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a while, my breasts started swelling up and being very sensitive 2weeks ago. Last Friday my husband comes up to me and asked “did you get your period?”, when the answer was ‘no’, I had never seen him look happier. He rubbed my tummy before he went to sleep and would say “I think this is it”.

Yet I told him that I would wait a while to take a pregnancy test, because you never know, when your period might show up.

Sunday we went baby shower shopping for our future nephew and for some of our very good friends. He was so enthusiastic and excited. All of a sudden I really needed to pee, but held it because I just wanted to get to the in-laws. As we got there I went to the bathroom and... my period had started..

On the way home I had to man up and tell him. “My period started”, his face changed from smiling to a complete poker face, his hand grabbed mine and the whole drive home was the most awkward situation. Complete silence...

When we got home he grabbed me and just hugged me. The first things out of his mouth were “we’ll keep trying. I love you”.

I love this man so much!! Maybe next month..
