Elliot as a girl name?

Help me out. I LOVE the name Elliot for a girl. I also love it for a boy. The thought of a lil Ellie girl just makes me smile. My husband isn’t a fan though. He said it’s too masculine. What do you think?

We will name our boy Eliot. I don't like it as a girl name... Ellie is super cute though and can be a nickname for Elizabeth, Elenor, Elina and so on.

My daughter is Elliott and we call her Ellie.  I love it as her name.  I had always thought of it as a boy’s name but my husband thought it was a girl’s name so we agreed to go with that regardless of gender.
If only we were finding it so easy to agree on a name for baby #2...

I love it. It’s not too common, but not one of those “I want something unique, name her kehnuhhdiee” kinds of names. Please don’t do that 😂 Elliot is cute for a girl or a boy.
