When should I neuter my male kitty?

Question

I have a 3 months and half male kitten and I am thinking about neutering him when he reaches 6 months but I’m afraid it is too early even if my vet says it’s the right time.
How was your experience with your kitty?how did he cope with the surgery? What are the benefits and disadvantages? Changes?
Please any advice or feedback is welcome

I am planning on doing it soon- mine is about 7months.
They hit sexual maturity about that age, and can start to spray and mark their territory... so I would trust your vet.
I used to volunteer at the Humane society and they actually spay and neuter kittens as young as 8 weeks (since they can be adopted after 6-8 weeks I think), and they require them to be fixed prior to leaving the shelter

Do it immediately. 6 months is around the time when they start going into heat and spraying. Avoid that headache, get him fixed.

Mine was as soon as possible. Especially with cats fixing them early fixes their attitude issues before that happen. My cat can be a brat to my dog (because he was around first 🙄🤷🏽‍♀️) but he is the biggest love

6 months isn't too young at all.  He'll be fine.  You'll worry like you're his momma LOL But he'll be fine.
