Is doing tarot against god?

I'm a catholic & just last year I starded to get into being a tarot reader and stuff. I was thinking about buying my first deck but is god against it? I'm not a big religion person but I fear doing the things that are against gods will?

Yes. There are so many scriptures in the Bible where God makes his view known about people who deal with tarot cards. Anything to do with divination, dabbling in the occult, spiritism, all those things are detectable to God. He wants his followers to have nothing to do with those things as they are not godly. So if you want to please God you need to have nothing to do with that stuff.

God doesn't forbid stuff to be mean, or a kiljoy but because he knows what's good and bad for us when we can't see it. Like as a kid, you remember being told "don't do that" then you do the thing and got hurt? Its like that. Listen to your Heavenly Papa, he knows best x

Hun please don’t do it. It is against God’s desire. I had to deal with the spiritual consequences of tampering with stuff like that. Deceitful spirits that draw you in and make you feel like nothing is wrong with it. Trust me, I had to deal with spiritual issues. Don’t listen to anyone trying to tell you it’s okay to do it because it’s “your life” like the person below stated...because frankly, they’re wrong. It stopped being yours when you submitted it to God, who only wants to give you the best life. Be obedient to your father, he just wants to make sure you don’t get into trouble you could avoid. I feel a lot of Christians need to be more aware of how our battles are spiritual and it’s important to understand that so you know what to avoid.
