Did I feel him move for the first time?

I am 16 weeks today with my first (boy). I was sitting this morning petting one of my precious fur babies when out of nowhere I feel this weird.. what I would almost call flip... in my belly. I’ve never noticed/felt this before. Could it be my baby? Or am I nuts and just don’t want it to be gas 😂😂 I read most first time moms wont feel their baby move until much later.... help!

Yes! That's how it felt to me at 16 weeks too. I now feel full on kicks at 20 weeks. Maybe your baby is larger like my girl haha. She measured a week ahead at our U/S this week so I feel like because she is long I felt her earlier!

Yes, that's when and how I felt this baby for the first time too :) don't expect movement every day now though or you'll be disappointed lol. But you'll feel him every few days, to every other day to every day. I'm about 27 weeks now and I feel this baby several times a day. It's my favorite part of the pregnancy :)

Totally could've been baby.   it's called quickening or flutters
