General anesthesia vs. Local for Reversal

A

I'm wondering how the procedures went for the guys who had general anesthesia and those who only used local or slight sedation. Some places only offer one or the other and it looks like the average fee is $2500 for general anesthesia. so I'm wondering how tolerable it is with local and light sedation. I've seen most surgeries are two hours but can go up to 4 hours. I feel like that's a long time to not yet put to sleep. Thoughts? Advice?
