Late period?

Hey ladies, I have a question. I’ve been on birth control pills and I’m on the last row, I just took the first pill of that one today. Now.. I’ve been getting cramps since last Thursday since my period was supposed to start on Saturday but it never did. I’ve been cramping none stop since Thursday. It’s not really intense it just lasts a few seconds and occurs every now and then. Would the pills have something to do with it? I’m pretty new to birth control so I could just be freaking out for no reason.

Although back at the end of February I had sex like.. 3 times with my ex. All in the same day. First two times we used protection but the last time we didn’t (Which is dumb because I shouldn’t have done it if I wasn’t fully awake to be aware we weren’t using a condom) he pulled out but you never know- but the then I had been on birth control for about a week. I don’t know, I felt like I should just put that in there in case, but I’m just confused-
