Caught on Snapchat

Ladies....I need advice. The other night I was posting a story to my husbands snap and happened to scroll over to his discovery page (the page with the ads, publishers, etc) and the first thing that pops up is this account called Booty💦 and I click through it and it’s photos of naked women and their butts. Then the next account to show up is women touching themselves.

I immediately confronted him and he denied it saying he wasn’t sure what those were or how they got there. Well I go do some research on Snapchat and sure enough find out that Snap only publishes accounts/stories that you’ve looked at previously or similar content and the more you look at these stories the higher in popularity they are on your page. Which means these two accounts my husband has been looking at pretty frequently or at least similar content.

He has since come clean and says he does look at the photos but he doesn’t “follow” the pages and that he is sorry. He said I shouldn’t be upset because he has told me in the past he watches porn and there’s not a difference between porn and these photos. But I am upset. I’m upset because even though before I knew he watched porn I didn’t have an image, hard facts, to associate with it. These are other women that aren’t me. I have feelings of hurt, insecurity, betrayal and I’m not sure what to do. I’ve accepted his apology but I can’t let this uncomfortable feeling go. I feel like I should be relieved it’s a bunch of random women and not one specific woman but I’m not.

Any advice?
