Can a evangelical Christian marry a Muslim?

In the bible, King Solomon had many wives and they were pagan. They caused him to worship other gods. The Lord judged him for it and punished him. It would be best to find a husband that worships the same God as you. Do you want your children to know the one true living God- Jesus Christ? or do you want them to worship a false god?

Obviously they can. Should they? No. Maybe conversion happens but it’s likely that won’t happen and it’s highly likely one would be “corrupted” by the other religion (obviously that’s a matter of perspective). Solomon married foreign women and his heart was turned to their gods. This is not just an issue with Solomon, though, but is shown to be a common issue in Israel. The Christian and Muslim religions are vastly different due to the simple fact (though there are obviously other differences) that one claims Jesus is God and another claims He is not. One hinges on the belief that Jesus is God and another denies it. This is an irreconcilable difference which would cause dissension and division in the house, or at best case scenario, spiritual loneliness and isolation. Neither would be able to worship in the fullest sense, but would live halfway for their religious compulsions. Either one would attend a mosque alone or never, and same goes for the one that goes to church. And if the couple tried to go to both, further participation would be impossible. All in all, it’s possible but it’s a bad idea.

According, to the bible it says not to be unevenly yoked. God in the bible warns you against this because it can cause u to go the wrong paith. I never found were it said 
it was a sin. so i would say yes tech. u can marry but it wouldn't be easy. you would have to seperate your religions. you can not be both religions in the evangelical Christian church. but the decision is yours.

Both of these religions prefer to marry within the religion, I see it as a door way for this Christian to lead the Muslim to God in hopes of not going backwards. As far as household daily life, what church would you go to yours or his, what about prayer? Who would you pray to in your house... these are just a few things I think could cause a problem if not thoroughly discussed before

If you love someone don’t let religion get in the way. If you honestly think religion is a dealbreaker than just date only people who follow your religion. Then you won’t be in this situation? 🤷🏼‍♀️

As others have said, you CAN, but whether it would work for you is another matter. I was Christian when I met my now husband. He was Muslim. We certainly would have married regardless but as it happened I fell in love with Islam and converted beforehand. Now we have a child, I can see that it would have been very difficult to raise him if we were following different religions. So much of being a parent comes from our beliefs and I imagine we would be disagreeing on so much if we weren’t both Muslim.
