Back to work blues
I’m a first time mom who just went back to work in the beginning of March. I am a nurse and work 3-12 hour shifts a week which is full time. I am struggling. The stress and the lack of sleep is slowly taking a toll on me. I’m feeling angry towards my husband who gets to sleep soundly though the night.. and I’m frustrated and jealous of the people who get to stay at home with their babies bc sadly i do not have that option. The lack of sleep wasn’t as bad to deal with on maternity leave but working a 12 hour shift on no sleep seems impossible. Not to mention the lives that are in my hands which is very stressful. Any other nurses out there or working moms have any advice for me?
