Lie and push me should I stay

My husband called me a stupid bitch cause I ask him why he lied about getting groceries. He said I’m not his mother and he can get it when he feel like it but it was almost dark. Then he called me dumb and called me a stupid bitch. I threw the remote control at him he ran up on me and pushed me to the floor I called the police they did nothing. Then he lied to police and said he didn’t push me and that I am violent. I could not believe he wouldn’t tell the truth.
