My mom can’t stand that I like Drag Queens

Okay, so I have watched RuPaul’s Drag Race since 7th grade and I am a huge fan. I am involved it my local (but small) drag scene and I want to go to more shows with Ru girls, but my mom hates it. I’m only 16 and she is super Christian. She isn’t “homophobic” so to speak, but she doesn’t really agree with it. Every time I try to explain it, she gets defensive, and when I get emotional, she gets mad and doesn’t understand. I can’t talk about it around her all. It’s torturous when you really live something, but you have to keep it to yourself. I don’t know what I would do without my supportive friends.
