PERIOD LEAVE DAYS, should they be a thing?

Do you think women who experience severe period pain and have a doctors note to justify should be granted (at least) one day a month as a “period pain”leave day. Or for those attending school at least one day a month where they have and excused absence! Let’s vote ladies🙋🏼‍♀️

In theory I think this is a great idea, but I feel like this would never work. I can see too many women abusing it or taking advantage of it. I believe a lot of women who do experience severe pain can get a doctor's note to get a day off anyways. I'm not against it at all, I just think this is a difficult system to implement.

We work really hard for equality, we can't then go and say we need a day off a month solely because we're female.

I've never used a period as an excuse for missing anything. I have really heavy and painful periods. I suck it up, deal with it and go on with life
