I have a tattoo theory. It goes like this:  your first tattoo doesn't hurt that bad because you're so scared of the pain and think it's worse than it really is, so therefore the pain is much more tolerable than you anticipated. Then you go in for a 2nd tattoo thinking that first one wasn't bad at all, and then the 2nd one hurts worse because you think it's going to be a walk in the park. Now, I'm having my second baby naturally and I'm scared that this theory is going to come in to play. I keep saying birth wasn't that bad, and my husbands like "do you not remember your labor at all?  It was really hard for you". Ahhh... What if this one is even worse.
