After depo

I got 3 or 4 depo shots this go around . Everything was great at first no bleeding and no issues . After my last shot I was literally bleeding randomly off and on the whole time so I decided not to get it anymore . I was supposed to get my shot a week ago . I have had one instance of random bleeding but it was just a day . Do I count that as a period since I’m no longer on it or what ? I’m not trying to get pregnant but I would like to know what to expect . I was on depo years ago and when I stopped I didn’t have a period for a year . I have been extra emotional the last few days . Like left crying over the dumbest stuff ever . I took a test in the middle of the day a week ago it was negative . But I know you can get pregnant on depo and I know it’s different now than it was years ago .
