is anyone else going through this

my partner and i trying to get pregnant. But my partner is now suffering from issues with sexual dysfunction and desire due to abuse of codeine. he has stopped the codeine almost 12 months ago and is now having to be on subaxone. He says to me that doctors have told him that it will improve it will just take time but im getting really impatient now though and dont know if i beleive him. it has improved a tiny tiny bit but i cant see it getting any better. im just wondering if anytone else has been jn this position as me and if it improves and if they were successful in getting pregnant
