Drama Alert: You, Me, & Dupree? 👪

My boyfriend constantly talks to a friend in Florida that I don’t seem is a good influence. (This man calls him constantly - during movie nights, dinner, etc... to talk about “corporate business” but in reality is drunk and complaining about people, bills and how his day went for HOURS at a time!!!!!!!!) It seems that when my boyfriend talks to him it influences his own issues... to a point where my boyfriend is becoming co-dependent on his advice. I asked him not to speak to this man when I am around and he still does... at first, I thought this was just a “bromance” but now it’s getting too invasive for my liking. It’s been a couple of months - so, either my boyfriend is doing this to purposely get under my skin (spite) b/c I’ve asked him many times to respect my privacy or I’m being too private with who I want my boyfriend sharing the details of our life and financial life with. Either way, it feels sooo belligerent to me and I don’t know what to do but to go to my moms! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Help!
