Spouse in the room with IUI?

Question for the ladies that have done IUI, did they allow your spouse in the room ? I haven't asked them yet just curious but i feel like I want my husband with me when I hopefully get pregnant.

I've had two and my husband has been in the room for both. This last one she even had him push the semen through the syringe once it was placed.

My husband was there for both. This last one there was no room for him to stand next to me so he stood behind the doctor. Then he was mortified, saying “well that was quite the view.”

My hubs is squeamish, so he did not come in the room with me and honestly I was totally fine with it. I’ve had 3 iuis and he was only able to come to the first one, other 2 fell on days he could not take off.

I have always had my husband in there. he holds my hand and calms me threw the pain/cranky feeling. I'm glad he's there with me.
