Well, Abraham and Sarah from the Bible conceived at the ripe age of 100, so you do you, girl.

Technically over 35 is high risk, but really who cares?

I had a high risk pregnancy in my 20s & now have a beautiful, healthy toddler! High risk babies can end up just as healthy as, or healthier than, other babies! Best of luck to you, Shell!

I'm almost 36, and TTC for our first. Doctor gave approval!

I would say 40 and up only because it becomes high risk.

I just joined a new OBGYN practice because we moved and I love them... I was very nervous that they would take one look at me: 36 and overweight... And burst my bubble. But they were incredibly supportive and encouraging. TTC #1. Baby dust to you and me!

Point is...find a dr who will be supportive and help you regardless of your circumstances...totally possible

35 preg w/#1 & overweight....didn't think I could get pregnant but when I found out my dr was very straight forward with me about the risks at my age and weight. She told me it didn't need to be a "high risk" pregnancy if I did my part (exercise eat right) so far so good! 20w healthy baby & mom

I had a high risk pregnancy at 20 years old. I'm around my mid 30's now & ttc #2. Hopefully this will not be a high risk pregnancy, but knowing my history, it probably will be.A while back I worked in the high risk perinatal ward in the hospital & there were plenty of younger women there. Admittedly, there definitely were more "older" women, but my original point being, anyone can have a complicated pregnancy, regardless of age.Personally, I think that it's your body, your life, your choice.

There's never an age when it's too old. if your body can no longer reproduce there are always other options. but you are never too old
