Trisomy and results
Has anyone gotten a false positive on there blood work for Down syndrome or trisomy.? We just got a call today from our dr letting us know our baby has a 1 in 5 chance of having trisomy 13 or 18. We go in Friday for more blood work and the next few weeks we will have ultrasounds and more test but I’m scared and just want someone to tell me the chances of a false positive are high. My husbands sister has trisomy 12 so I’m just really scared.
