Boyfriend texts when he drives..

It honestly pisses me off. He texts all the time when he drives. If I'm in the car I take his phone out of his hand and put it down. When I tell him not to text and drive guess what his excuse is? "I can text and drive, I'm a police officer!" It honestly boils my blood. I DO NOT CARE if you are a cop, half blind, or a professional race car driver. I am in nursing school and have seen during clinicals what car accidents do to people.. Anyone else get pissed off when people text while driving? I don't even personally know anyone who has been hurt by it, but I cannot stand it. Makes me sad honestly. And the fact he gave the excuse he is a COP. PETTY.
